中文摘要: 非线性光学晶体材料具有频率转换效应,可用于激光变频等领域,是光电子产业的重要基础材料,其中的硼酸盐晶体结构中的硼氧键有利于紫外光波的透过,容易实现激光波长的高效率转换。我们前期利用高温固相反应法合成了一种新型氧合硼酸盐:Pb4B2O7,它属于正交晶系,Aba2空间群,晶体结构不具有对称中心,共平行的BO3基团和Pb2+离子的孤对电子协同效应使得该晶体能够产生大的倍频效应,粉末倍频效应为3倍的KDP (KH2PO4),能够实现相位匹配,属于同成分熔融化合物,易于生长,是一种潜在的非线性光学晶体。本项目拟采用顶部籽晶法和提拉法对其进行晶体生长,系统研究籽晶种类、温场、籽晶方向、降温速率和晶转速度等对晶体生长的影响,对生长出的单晶采用高分辨X射线衍射检查晶体结构是否完美,通过化学腐蚀法对晶体的微观缺陷进行观察和研究,期望能得到大尺寸高质量的Pb4B2O7晶体,并对其性能进行测试,评估其应用前景。

英文摘要: Nonlinear optical crystal material with frequency conversion effect, can be used for laser frequency conversion and other fields, is an important basic material of photoelectron industry, boron oxygen bond of borate crystal structure which is beneficial to ultraviolet light transmission, easy to achieve high efficiency conversion. A new oxyborate, Pb4B2O7 was synthesized by high temperature solid state reaction method in our previous work, It crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Aba2.The crystal structure has no center of symmetry,the cooperation effect of the coparallel alignment of BO3 triangles and the stereo-effect of the lone pair of the Pb2+ makes the PBO to produce a large second harmonic generation, about 3 times that of KH2PO4 (KDP), and it is phase matchable.It belongs to the congruent melting compounds, easy to grow, is a very promising nonlinear optical materials. This project intends to adopt the top seed crystal method and Czochralski method grown crystal.Temperature field, the seed crystal direction, cooling rate and rotating speed on the crystal growth of single crystal growth can be researche.Crystal structure can be inspected through high resolution X ray diffraction examination, Microscopic defect in crystal can be observed and studied by chemical etching. We hope to get the large size and high quality Pb4B2O7 crystal , test its performance, evaluation and its application prospect.
