Despite improvements in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) quality, survival rates following in-hospital and out-of-hospital cardiac arrests remain disappointingly low<10%. Cerebral injury caused by ischemia and hypoxia during prolonged cardiac arrest is compounded by reperfusion injury.Neurocognitive deficits remain a significant source of morbidity in survivors of cardiac arrest. It has been reported that the expression of messenger RNA (mRNA) and protein in brain.tissue increases significantly after damage, and NgRhas been proposed to play a central role in signaling myelin inhibition .Shen-Fu injection (SFI) following cardiac arrest exhibits neurological effects, but its effect on neurological dysfunction is unclear. This study sought to investigate the protective effect of SFI on nerve axonal regenerative in a rat model of cardiac arrest.
