中文摘要: 奇点光学是现代光学新兴的一个重要分支,由于其在纳米尺度下的光信息获取、光学微操纵等领域中极具潜力的应用前景而受到了广泛的关注。作为光波场的一种特殊相位异常效应,Gouy效应在诸多情况下都与各类光学奇点的演化存在着千丝万缕的联系。本项目采用奇点光学的拓扑学理论及光学相干性理论,拟研究在奇点光学中三类奇点:相位奇点、偏振奇点、相干奇点之间的演化规律及其它们与Gouy效应之间的联系。主要研究内容包括:各类光学奇点的产生条件和传输特性;光源特性参数以及光学系统特性参数对不同类光学奇点的产生、转变及湮灭的演化规律的影响;Gouy效应与光学奇点之间的关系。探索与发现在纳米/亚波长情况下,光学奇点演变的新现象,拓展奇点光学的研究对象和方法。本项目的工作将丰富奇点光学的理论,为光通信、光探测、光场微操纵、光学天线等的发展提供理论和实验依据。

英文摘要: Singular optics is an important new branch in modern optics. Due to its many potential applications in optical information acquisitions and optical manipulations at nano-scale, singular optics has attracted many attentions these years. As a special phase anomaly, Gouy phase always has an effect on the evolution of optical singularities in many circumstances. In this project, we will adopt the topological method and the coherence theory to study the evolution of these three kinds of optical singularities: phase singularity, polarization singularity and coherence singularity, and its relationship with the Gouy effect. Our research will include: the conditions for generating optical singularities, the influence from the parameters of the source and the optical system onto the generation, transformation or annihilation of the optical singularities and the relationship between the Gouy effect and these singularities. We aim to explore the new effect from the evolution of the singularities, extend the object and the approach for studying the singular optics in nano/sub-wavelength scale. Our work will rich the theory of singular optics and also will provide theoretical and experimental support for developing the optical communications, optical detections, optical manipulations and optical antennas, etc.
