中文摘要: 基于奈奎斯特脉冲成形的数字相干检测光通信技术是高速光传输领域的重要发展方向。本项目将以高频谱效率奈奎斯特相干光通信技术为研究中心,在理论和实验两方面开展如下工作:建立多进制调制格式奈奎斯特相干光通信系统的理论和仿真模型,发展调制格式透明的信道估计与信道均衡技术,建立相应的数字信号处理算法体系;发展高相位噪声容忍度的载波相位恢复方法,采用低成本兆赫兹线宽激光器实现奈奎斯特超级光信道相干光传输;研究不同高阶多进制调制格式和可变频谱效率的混合调制格式奈奎斯特超高速相干光传输系统,阐明采用不同光子载波带宽颗粒度情况下,超级光信道非线性光纤传输损伤物理机制及其对信道容量的影响,并发展相应的非线性补偿技术;发展超级光信道光子载波间联合均衡技术,研究逼近理想奈奎斯特信道间隔的多进制相干光传输系统。预期研究成果将为多进制调制格式高频谱效率奈奎斯特相干光通信技术的应用奠定坚实基础。

英文摘要: Digital coherent-detection optical communication system based on Nyquist pulse shaping is an important trend of high speed optical communication. This project will focus on high spectral efficiency Nyquist coherent optical communication technology and conduct the following studies both theoretically and experimentally: establish the theoretical and the simulative system models for Nyquist coherent optical communication employing multilevel modulation formats, develop modulation format-transparent channel estimation and equalization and build up the corresponding scheme of digital signal processing; develop carrier phase recovery method with high phase noise tolerance, realize Nyquist superchannel coherent transmission with low cost megahertz linewidth laser; investigate ultrahigh-speed Nyquist coherent transmission systems with different high order multilevel modulation formats and hybrid modulation formats with variable spectral efficiency, study the mechanism of nonlinear distortions and the degradation of channel capacity for superchannel fiber transmission with different optical subcarrier bandwidth granularities, develop the corresponding nonlinear compensation scheme; develop joint equalization between different optical subcarrier within the superchannel, study multilevel coherent transmission system approaching ideal Nyquist channel spacing. The expected accomplishments can lay a solid foundation for the application of high spectral efficiency Nyquist coherent optical communication with multilevel modulation formats.
