This volume contains the proceedings of PLACES 2026, the 17th edition of the Workshop on Programming Language Approaches to Concurrency and Communication-cEntric Software. The workshop is scheduled to take place in Turin, Italy, on April 11, 2026, as a satellite event of ETAPS, the European Joint Conferences on Theory and Practice of Software.
