中文摘要: 许多电磁波信号传输在沙尘环境中,如沙尘暴的遥感监测、沙尘环境中的微波通讯等。风沙系统中沙粒在运动过程中,由于频繁的相互接触和碰撞等使得沙粒带有净电荷。电磁波信号的传输质量取决于其通过带电沙尘系统时的散射特性,且沙尘系统的遥感监测的准确性直接与散射特性相关。2005年周又和教授等发现沙粒局部带电对电磁波有显著的衰减作用。然而,对于电磁波在带电沙尘系统中的散射特性及其定量规律仍缺乏准确的认识,尤其缺乏系统性的实验研究和实验数据。本项目拟对电磁波通过带电风沙系统的散射特征及其相关衰减、去极化和相移规律开展系统的室内、野外实验研究,建立电磁波通过带电风沙系统散射规律系统的观测数据库;在实验数据的支持下,建立有效的电磁波通过带电沙尘系统散射计算模型和计算方法,开展电磁波通过带电沙尘系统散射特性数值计算;结合电磁波通过带电沙粒和沙尘系统的散射特性和实验数据、规律,建立研究沙尘系统如参数反演的模型和方法。

英文摘要: Lots of electromagnetic signals (e.g. remote-sensing and communication signals) propagates in wind-sandy enviroments. Due to frequent contact and collision between sand particles, sand particles will carry some net charges.Therefore, the precision of remote sensing and the quality of communication signals depends on the knowledge of scattering of electromagnetic wave when it propagates in sand/dust storms carrying net charges. In 2005, Zhou found that there is a significant attenuation of the electromagnetic waves propagating in the charged wind sand system. However, the scattering properties of the electromagnetic waves by the charged wind sand system is not understood well, far from accurate monitoring the movement of wind-sand system using electromagnetic waves. Especially, there is no systematic experimental study on the scattering of the electromagnetic waves by the charged wind sand system. In this project, we will conduct experimental studies on the scattering of electromagnetic waves by charged wind-sand system in the lab, the wind tunnel and field, including the attenuation, cross depolarization and phase shift of the electromagnetic waves scattered by the charged sand particles and charged wind-sand system, based on which to establish a database. By using the experimental data to test our numerical model and numerical method to conduct out the numerical calculation of the scattering of the electromagnetic waves propagating through the charged wind sand system. In addition, we try to use the properties of the scattering of the electromagnetic waves by the charged wind sand system to establish a set of numerical method to investigate the wind sand movement including reverse parameters of the wind sand system.
